Like one specific presentation, or just in general? The higher up you go, the more your day revolves around talking and “presenting” (although as consultants it’s not often that we really present, it’s more discussion based). I spend so much of my time talking that I don’t really give it a thought at this point, not that that doesn’t mean I don’t have lots of opportunities for improvement.
I prep for presentations, usually out loud and act like I'm on the phone or under my breath while I'm walking my 🐕. Usually do it 4-6 times for more tehnical briefs. Generally the more you do it the smoother it is, that goes for prepared presentations and just off the cuff discussions.
I have memory issues so I write a script and practice it until I can say most of it without prompts. I’ve been doing this for 6-7 years now for presentations. I also find that if I can some how sit during the actual delivery, I sound much more organic.

I do mean one specific speech. I see many people who make it look effortless; they are rich in content, relevant, impactful, have humor woven in etc. I’m not sure if it’s raw talent or rote repetition and practice.
I think of as if I am acting during public speech more than being myself for it. More energized, animated, and hyped for the part. As long as it takes for you to go off on a whim about the subject unless it’s a highly technical presentation eg thesis defense
