Almost all the high holidays fall out on the weekend this year! Might be the first time I’ll have rollover PTO!
Renegotiating my contract and curious about maternity leave policies at other practices/hospitals. Do you get paid leave? If so how much time off & are you getting full pay? We are a group of about 75 employees, 6 docs with 5 PA’s and only unpaid 12 weeks off.
Planning a vacation in late June, any recommendations for somewhere with lots of golf and with a bit of nightlife/near beach and if not a beach - a resort with a nice pool. Ive been to Miami already. Would be for ~5 days
Just got dumped after 6 months. We had a serious connection so I thought, said we loved each other, talked about future, looked like I was everything he said he wanted. But he thought I was out of his league, more established, there was an age difference, I have older kids, he has one young child. I lurked on his IG and he is on vacation with someone else 😂🥺 I’m HEARTBROKEN. How tf do I recover?!?
There are so many holiday parties to attend. Any advice on how to make it to many and still be a functional human by the end of the week?
I’m hearing about so many company holiday parties. We’ve never had one and it makes me so bummed out! Is it just my group/dept? Do any of you oracle peeps have a holiday party??
I have been in sales even before college. I'm reaching a burn out. I feel like the expectations get higher the more work I put in and that ends with me putting on many hats to get done. I can't catch a break, let alone allowed a decent vacation without having to negotiate based on performance. I honestly don't want to be in sales forever. I'm versatile when it comes to any tasks due to the nature of wearing many hats. Any suggestions?
Have seen comp for NACR (restructuring) listed at around 150-200 for analysts, 200-275 for associates, and one mention of senior associates at 375k. Supposedly NACR gets crushed in terms of hours. But i've also read that targets are around 2000 hours per year? Something doesn't add up.....e.g. Associate $550/hr * 25% cap rate * 2000 billable hrs = $275k.......but 2000 hours is slightly over 40 hours a week (including 4 weeks vacay), not the 80 hr/week. So is there a ton of time on vacation?
What is it about clients that obligates them to go on vacation as we’re preparing to close on a deal (or they decide to leave the country the morning of closing)? Is it something in the water?
New hire here- I am in a project and will be taking a PTO. Do I need to update something in staffit also? Or just DTE is enough? What should I update in staffit for the day I take leave? Please advice.
POV: I’m a corporate junior associate and I am 250 hours behind my target to make hours this year (need 2k for bonus). Am I just SOL at this point? My fear is that I’m busting my ass and saying yes to every deal to try to make it up but if I don’t make my hours anyway, I didn’t have to try so hard and stress. (Also, I have about 2 weeks of vacation planned before the holidays so I’ll have to make that up too)
Recently 1 of my clients initiated open PTO policy. The transition from set leave balance to open was smooth process. However we are running into dilemma of how we standardize different types of leaves and whether there will be a limitation to how much open PTO is used at one time. For leisure, we just limit taking two weeks max at one time. However if we have volunteer policy or bereavement policy how should we standardize it? If EE is out for longterm sick, how do we standardize time paid?
how do you guys fill your timesheets when the client has holiday but it's not a holiday for you in nagarro?

Is it a good sign if the interviewer says the recruiter will contact me with next steps?

Is there any possible way to leave a bad impression if you leave a firm after 1 year to clerk for a federal judge? Presuming you work hard, you’re nice, people like you, and you do good work.
