Senior Strategist salary in Denver/Boulder?
I'm now at an agency with unlimited PTO and I will be taking the same number of days (at least) that I got at my old agency (23). If you have unlimited PTO and you choose not to use what you are entitled to, then that's your very American-style problem
I’ve never used all of my days, but I have heard from people at shops with unlimited PTO (and I’ve seen studies that back this observation up) that people take far fewer days because the culture changes from “well, they must have the days” to “well, they must not care about work”
True. My “PTO” is now WFH.
“Unlimited PTO” is a ridiculous scam. It’s a way that employers pay out 0 vacation days when you leave, and squeeze you with guilt for the vacation you have every right to take.
I get 15 vacation, 5 personal, and 5 sick. I use every single day plus a few extra. None roll over but I would never not use my days. It’s important to take time off, people!!!
45 days in total. Amsterdam based. You can move days into the new year if you didn't take them all
I almost negotiated being able to talk all my vacation days.
1) 20
2) Only if you leave your agency.
3) No
4) N/A
Nope

2) N/A
3) N/A
4) I took about 30 but you gotta spread them out a bit 😄
That’s awesome.
Lots of little breaks or a few longer ones?
Are you in the States?
I get 20 plus the week between Christmas and New Years. Since that was in the offer I didn’t negotiate.
VP and above can roll up to 10 days into the next year but they have to be taken in the first 6 months. If you don’t use them you lose them.
Unused days are paid out if you leave the agency but not that’s not inclusive of the days you roll over.
What’s unlimited PTO?
1. 25 - my company factors in additional time for experience in the industry on top of the role's amount, which is nice.
2. None, sadly.
3. 5 days, I carried it over this year so have 30 days.
4. N/A
1. 25 PTO, plus 10 sick days a year, and holidays
2. No pay out.
3. PTO days roll over at a max of 5, to be used in next Quarter. Sick days stack to max 60, but are not paid out if unused.
4. NA
1) 15 (didn’t negotiate)
2) No
3) Expire at end of calendar year
4) N/A
1) 37 inc. public holidays, 25 w/o
2) Only when you leave (or can leave early)
3) Yes but need to take within Q1
4) N/A
In Europe hence the high number.
Same as me in NY for all of those: 24 days off + 15 public holidays
i’m unlimited i i take around 20ish spread out though
Is TBWA unlimited or is this for certain positions only?
1) 22
2) when you leave
3) up to 5.
4) N/A
OP must not like what the agency is giving him/her. Who gives a shit what people get - it is what it is.
Having open convos about things like this is a great privilege.
If “it is what it is" to you, just unsubscribe from the Salaries channel or leave this app.
Not sure why anyone would be here with that attitude.
It’s simple to keep scrolling if you aren’t interested.
Unlimited pto is awesome. You just have to make sure you don't get all guilty for taking it.
20 plus the week between Christmas and New Years, plus the NY public holidays mentioned above. 5 roll over
