I'm new to Fishbowl so please excuse me if I am in the wrong thread to post my job opportunity. I have a 6 month contract to hire, potential, with a major FinTech company looking for a Seasoned Software Engineer (Tech stack: Java, API, AWS, Spring Boot, React or Angular). Client is hiring in the following cities SF (CA), Scottsdale (AZ) and Chicago (IL). Pretty much remote but would need to go onsite when requested.

If you’re coming from a PhD/MD and consulting at LEK - 1-2 yr only. If coming from undergrad, tack on 1-2 more years.
Are you in the LS practice at LEK?
I am an LEK alum and the brand is pretty good for biopharma because the firm is known for doing front end disease area strategy work.
For a manager role in industry, either 4th year / senior associate pre-MBA or a Consultant with 1 year experience post-MBA.
🤣 at “front end” disease area strategy work. I think you’re confusing with systems integration or tech implementation work.
C1 - front end as in new mechanisms of actions, tradeoffs of pairing new treatments with a companion diagnostics, market sizing of things like cell therapies, or rare disease work. Cell therapy and rare disease are big ones, areas where lots of consulting firms don't have lots of reps or off the shelf prior work to pull from.
At my company usually right out of MBA or a few with 4-5 years of relevant experience (big biopharma)
I usually see ~5 years on LinkedIn for these roles
Thank you guys, helpful context!
Starts at SM/AD for us - newest people to join the group had 4-5 years post PhD or 3-4 years post MBA
I’ve seen this route the most - MBA, then ~2 YOE for AD/D level.
What about coming from ClearView with a PhD?
Same thing
