All 🐠 with firms that provide pensions... Best advice for vested pension when leaving your firm? Should you take lump sum or leave it? Manager level but been with firm since college graduation.
Is getting an MBA worthwhile for an IT consultant looking to move into industry? What would be the highest paying exit roles? Not worried about the work, moreso making enough to feed my future family!
Thanking in advance for your valuable advices. My BG- age 30 on work visa. Savings $115k in savings account. Recently opened 401 and have 5k. Never traded, don’t have interest in learning.. contd
Speaking purely from an economical perspective, would FAANG or MBB offer more $$ coming out of an MBA program? What about after 10-15 yrs?
I’m an auditor. Was put on a consulting project and did a bad job. Client is pissed. Already yelled at me for like 2 hours and we might lose the audit work now.How do I let go of the anxiety?...

I have several interviews coming up over Zoom for a role at F500 healthcare company. The first meeting the hiring manager was in a polo and I was suit and tie. Should I keep that up or are people doing just a button down and jacket these days? Haven’t interviewed in a while and I was always a suit and tie person.
I'm considering joining Oliver Wyman as a Principal. Any thoughts / sentiments on the firm culture, exit opportunities, quality of work and more pointedly experience functioning at principal level?
What to wear for industry webex interview? Is a shirt and jacket enough? Feel silly if I wear a tie
For those who’ve gone through the VC interview process, how would you recommend studying for technicals? Is it similar to IB/PE technicals? Or is there more of a focus on case interview technicals? Understand that it varies by firm but any perspectives would be helpful. Thank you!
Rejected after five rounds of interviews, all of them included cases. Previous feedback was all "impressive". Now it's suddenly "you don't have the right skills". Last interviewer explicitly said his case was a new ask given to him by his manager and that he needed help from my answers. Frustrated regarding how much time I spent for this role. Should have realized sooner there was something wrong given several of their cases sounded so specific and related to their own projects.
Just wasted 20 minutes trying to figure out how to update my job title on LinkedIn as a promotion instead of a new position. It still sent notification to my network as a new position instead of a promotion. How’s your evening going? 🙃
Do Big 4 internal services (i.e. Corp Finance, HR, Recruiting) have clients like the typical business lines too? I’m looking to get out of control testing and into something with somewhat better hours
What’s the likelihood of getting an MBA sponsorship from Kearney in the UK going forward? I guess they will be giving these out less given covid.
