Does anyone know what the starting salary would be for a just promoted senior accountant in A&A at MNP in Alberta, Canada (specifically Red Deer)?
I have been told I will receive an offer shortly and want to have some idea of what is a fair offer is, as my options are either take it or wait for internal promotion at my current company which should have occurred already. I have written CFE and passed it but still getting my hours for the designation. MNP

Was recently offer a position at Amazon, recruitor asked how much I want , I said 200k and then he told me for your position the midpoint at this location is 170k, then he asked me what’s the minimum number I’ll consider and I said 190k, and after 1 day he came back and told me it’s approved for 190k and how much extra miles they had to went to get it approve and no one make that much in the team currently. I thank him and said will get back to him, is there still room to go? Is this offer final Amazon
$150K aim high and then meet in the middle after they low ball you at $149K
I actually know a manager at Sunglass Hut personally.
Please.. Do yourself a favor and do not ask for 150k lol
Typically.. 40-45k is the pay for a Store Manager for Sunglass Hut. In todays climate.. you might be able to get away with 60-70k max if you’re managing two locations and still not considered a DM or Regional.
If you aim way too high, they’ll clip you as a candidate immediately for being unrealistic.
Go through the interview job. Make sure you ace the interview and allow them to get to the point in which they ask you your desired salary. When you get to that point ask “What is the salary range/budget given for this position” They’ll have to reply with at least the minimum salary expectation for the role. Then, between your experience and what you bring to the table you’ll be able to justify a proper salary. Hope this helps.
That’s ridiculous, right out of college at the MD salary level
How much do you make to manage 1 store?
40-45k
How important is the title to you in contrast with your job descriptions? I’m an appellate paralegal (child neglect and abuse) and starting an in-house legal assistant to GC role (contract drafting and negotiation). I’d say you go with the IP offer. You won’t regret it
