How much a year should I ask for when interviewing to manage two sunglass huts one stand alone store one in Hudson’s Bay

$150K aim high and then meet in the middle after they low ball you at $149K

likefunny

I actually know a manager at Sunglass Hut personally.
Please.. Do yourself a favor and do not ask for 150k lol
Typically.. 40-45k is the pay for a Store Manager for Sunglass Hut. In todays climate.. you might be able to get away with 60-70k max if you’re managing two locations and still not considered a DM or Regional.
If you aim way too high, they’ll clip you as a candidate immediately for being unrealistic.

Go through the interview job. Make sure you ace the interview and allow them to get to the point in which they ask you your desired salary. When you get to that point ask “What is the salary range/budget given for this position” They’ll have to reply with at least the minimum salary expectation for the role. Then, between your experience and what you bring to the table you’ll be able to justify a proper salary. Hope this helps.

How much do you make to manage 1 store?

40-45k

How important is the title to you in contrast with your job descriptions? I’m an appellate paralegal (child neglect and abuse) and starting an in-house legal assistant to GC role (contract drafting and negotiation). I’d say you go with the IP offer. You won’t regret it

Hi Guys ,

I have been offered a temporary contract role of one year .
Is PF and Gratuity mandatory even for contract employee .
The employee have provided a letter of intent with PF and gratuity component included in the CTC .

Well I had to agree for a salary less that my mentioned expected salary as i was laid off 7 months back .

Please advice

Thank you

I just received this email by a recruiter:

"One thing I want to run by you again is the salary range. I asked you about it when we spoke and you mentioned a range. I would say that we would be able to offer a salary more in the lower part of that range, so I just want to make sure it is still relevant for you? We think l that you would have exciting development possibilities with us"

the lower part of that range, is acceptable, but low for market in the area. Should i ask about benefits?

Imagine you're looking for a remote job at a large company with a sophisticated marketing function, strong manager, and room for growth. Making good traction, but then you're contacted by a company in a niche that FASCINATES you...like you read books about this subject for fun, you'd probably love this job. It's remote, the salary is good, the manager is nice, but you'd be the most senior marketing person; the company is about 200 people. What would you do?

I think they will be giving me Band B3 (correct if my understanding is wrong). My HR round is tomorrow. What is the expected CTC for this band.

My question is if they do not approve of the asked amount will the HR come back stating what is the best that they can offer? Or they would simply reject my profile. What would be the timeline for offer letter generation if approval is received?

Received a job offer today and unsure how to proceed. The role is lateral but with more opportunity to advance. The offer consists of a 17% base salary increase, a 25% annual bonus structure, and a signing bonus of 25% of my base. I feel that the offer is fair but the downside is fewer vacation days. I intend to negotiate the vacation time but as far as the compensation I am unsure if I should negotiate.. the offer is fair and I don't want to be greedy but I don't want to miss an opportunity

I’m currently an hourly union employee and I’ve been offered a position starting at .50 more an hour than I’m making now (generous for this company). My concern is: our union contract entitles me to a $1 raise next June. The new position is non-union, so I’ll essentially be getting a pay cut compared to what I’d be making next year in my current position. HOW do I negotiate this? Is it fair of me to ask for more NOW even though the offer is technically more than I’m currently making?

Would you submit a resignation letter(RL) if the employer is requesting one? I used to work in Sales with a Fortune 500 company for 8 years before leaving and starting a new role in IT with a small biz(medical practice). When we spoke about it they gently fired me because I couldn’t go FT, and now want a RL.
