How much added difficulty is there in auditing a company during an IPO (+$4B annual revenue)? Are there major differences in auditing a public offering in the various ways a company can go public?

Honestly the biggest pain will be in the next filing or a year from now when your large accelerated filer has to comply with ICFR

Yes.

Although Public audit is really just Private audit wearing nicer clothes, there are numerous reasons it’s more complex and ‘difficult’. The way in which the company goes public doesn’t affect audit procedures that much (outside of a consult or targeted equity testing).

Otherwise, just follow the PCAOB

How long does it usually take to hear back from a job you applied for? I just applied about a week ago but I’m anxious 🤣. Before I always applied for job in PA and the recruiting process is always quick (hear back/ have final offer within a week). Not sure if it’s the same case for private. TIA!
