Notice period task - complete all pending task , provide KT to team or new team members.

2016-2022 : Notice period : 60 days to 90 days.
Task - no leave so assign all task to notice period employee. Assign so much work so he/she will need to work for atlist 10hr and utilise all notice period.

I’m a new grad working in FDD and I’m trying to decide if becoming a CPA is worth it. I do not plan on staying in accounting in the future. I’m more interested in strategy work. I certainly do not want to do Audit. Would you recommend getting the CPA considering my career aspirations? Do you think it’s worth it? If not, what is the best way to use my time efficiently?

Deloitte ARA People - I don’t think it’s any secret that CMAAS and FAAS both have a much bigger presence than ARA. I have only seen you in the wild one time.

Has something changed recently that would indicate this will change? Is Deloitte more committed to the practice now? I can’t imagine if I asked this 3 years ago that Deloitte would have said “Nope we don’t care about ARA.”

Is it FOMO on the IPO / SPAC projects? Once all this dies down are they going to lose interest?

I had an initial call with a recruiter and got turned down about 6-7 months ago. I was having a really bad day (just found out a relative had passed, more than normal work stress, ect) and just really had a tough time gathering my thoughts. I honestly should have rescheduled the call but I just didn’t really want to have to push it out and coordinate schedules again. Any chance I can get a second look? The career path aligns with my interests and my background is a great fit.

Anyone in KPMGs transformation delivery practice(dc area)? Is this mainly in the public sector?

Is it possible for me to switch from audit to consulting or advisory with only 1 YOE? I just don’t find what I am doing to be enjoyable and would rather be in a different position. If you think it’s possible, can you please tell me how/what I need to do?

How frequent are team changes in advisory? I spent 3 years on the same audit client. I joined kpmg advisory in January and I've been on 3 teams in the last year here.

Is that normal? The last 2 contracts, 1 was downsized mid contract year, and the other simply wasn't renewed for a new option year, so it's not due to my performance.

I'm getting tired of learning new people and workflows, and I'm considering leaving bc of it, but I wanted to see if it was common before I made any rash decisions
