This summer I’m due for a promotion to senior in the transaction services practice at a consulting firm that’s a direct competitor to the Big 4. In taking over our strat dept I’m overhauling our recruitment plan with HR, but curious to hear opinions on interview exercises for mid and senior level folks.

I’ve always had to do them in interviews, but also don’t love that they’ve usually been ‘free thinking’ and often intensive, or don’t really help you understand their thinking.
