Any openings for freshers for TA/HR profile?
Hi Fishes
A bit off topic but relevant.
Did anyone hear abt TekFog & Persistent Systems Limited ? Did they develop it ? What's going on ? I wanted to apply (location preference) but am worried now if company is into these sort of unethical activities even more so if they don't even know about it.
Does anyone has any insights into it beyond the company blog post claiming they are not involved. Also how is the work culture there, are these sort things even believable for such company ?

During my first 5 years, I was "homeless" and put away my paycheque 100%. Was finally able to save up a down-payment for a condo in NyC. After that I rented it out while I continued to travel for work and paying down the loan with my salary. Will soon own it debt-free thanks to this job 😎
Dick size question #3,452,305
One now. Closing another on Monday!! Learned a lot after number 1. Planning for #3 early next year. And #4 has been under contract 2 years. Keeps getting delayed, but they honor my buy price. 50k in appreciation already.

$6,000 per month (includes husband). NYC based. We're making a serious effort bc we want to buy an apt here and shit ain't cheap.
Currently saving 20% of income (just under $1400) per month, with $1200 going to student loans for me and the wifey. The plan is as loans are paid back, to convert the payment total over time to be savings (after a snowball approach to payoff)
Oh - that's juts my income, she saves about $800, same % - making a $2200 per month investment for savings
This question is stupid. If someone is doing full 401k match the "savings" are a lot less than someone only putting in up to match. And level matters a lot too. If I save 4K a month (just me... a lot more will that spouse) I will beat most people by far. Flip side is I'm a manager and I only do 6% match. I save my cash for investment homes instead of the market.
Pwc2 you buy investment rental properties? How many do you have if you don't mind me asking. I'm doing the same, starting this year
How much you save should be driven by your goals, not where you leave. I have been saving 30% of gross income for a while because I want to be ready to retire. Adjust your life style to 70% of what you make and once the savings pile up you will acquire a nice feeling of independence.
