Probably £120-180 TC depending on the industry? That includes RSUs and etc.

like

Be careful these numbers on tech (similiar for some funds too albeit subbing for RSUs). This is NOT for more traditional industries. Those will be lower.

Happy to connect. In short salaries are pretty low compared to US. 80-100k GBP is a fairly average range for industry strategy roles.

Hello guys ,
I have given my interview at valuelabs for business development lead generation role and got selected. How is the company ? Any working ppl here from valuelabs?

I hired a start up tech company for the company I currently work for and have for the past 10 years. I love my current company but the money and rate of growth I need isn’t there anymore. I could excel with this tech company, I think I would love it, I know I would rock it. Is it unethical to pursue a position with the tech company?

I can’t tell if it was the nature of my previous position (term clerk therefore temporary) or if this will carry through in my position as a 3rd year associate at a firm I will plan to stay at for the foreseeable future. I’m about to move my stuff in and I feel like I should maybe tone it down. Thoughts?

When I clerked, I dreamed of being an appellate attorney. Tried to break in at BigLaw, couldn’t get past all the Supreme Court clerks, still lucked into all of two arguments in ten years.

25 years after my clerkship, my own shop, and my team of attorneys has seven federal appellate briefs due in the next five weeks. Maybe eight if opposing counsel’s motion to expedite comes through.

So I’ll be working this weekend. Careful what you wish for? Except I absolutely love it.

I work at a tech company.
After 4 years working on the same team being the only 1 designer for all design related matters, ~230 projects, directed many of them with talented artist, studios.
Approximately 60-70hrs a week. No time for vacation, always working over weekends, no holiday break (there’s no back up).
I’m still rated as junior - low level designer ;)
I was told that I’m not experienced enough because I didn’t learn from any directors.
