If a recruiter asks for your resume when do you send it? I’ve heard some send it immediately, others wait until they know about the specific position, still others even later? I’m not sure when is best and would appreciate thoughts as to when and why!
When can you ask what the salary is during the interview process. I’d need a bump to jump & don’t want to waste anyone’s time. Glassdoor has very wide range.
Overtime: who gets it? (Apart from legally required due to salary thresholds). From what I heard, some departments get it, some don’t. Does anyone have any insight on this?
What do directors expect from junior creatives? I’m currently collaborating on a commercial with a senior copywriter and they are cranking out scripts like a factory. And I’m just not moving at that speed. And it’s making me question if I’m under performing or if this is something that will come with time. I’ve only been in the role and the industry a few months now. But I’m feeling a bit discouraged. Is this imposter syndrome or do I need to reconsider my career?
Does anyone have any insight on comp/culture at the Barry’s corporate office in either Miami or LA?

I’m watching the creativity awards on ad age. I decided to take a shot everytime I see a POC nominated. So its been 35 minutes and I have only seen one. But that wasn’t even the surprising part. When they went to the Inclusion award that’s when I just started laughing at the amount of Karen’s and Micheals in position. Not one person with a shade of color was in the category lol 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

How difficult (relatively) is it to recruit for an MBB London office from a T15 US MBA program compared to a US office? I know it's not done often, but is that mainly due to the salary difference?
Goldman Sachs, IBD, FSIG, Business Operations, Analyst. what are the thoughts on this role?
When did you feel like you were successful? People around me think it’s impressive that I work at Deloitte; however, I’m miserable and hate the work I’m doing. Just accepted another job that others would deem a dream company and salary but I’m just afraid of being miserable there too. I just don’t feel like I’m good enough, will be happy, or be in a position where I feel like I’m successful as others.
Meeting with a VC partner and HR head for coffee/ discussing a role. Unsure what to wear. East coast, if it matters.
Any of you finding that the MBA admissions process is taking a toll on your productivity at work? Trying to perform at the same level while also focusing on applications/essays seems is proving to be really tough.
Twitter allowing all employees to work from home indefinitely. Post-COVID, if companies allow more ppl to WFH, is there any reason for client travel anymore? Clients wont be in the office anyways.

Why hasn't Lyft created a partnership with a credit card like Uber/Capital One? I feel like a lot of us would make the switch if they were partnered with Chase

Thinking of punching out at 1 yr mark as an experienced hire... how do recruiters view an early exit? I’m doing well, but not enjoying the work. How big is the benefit of staying for 2yrs /promo vs 1?
Currently in the middle of MBA apps through GSAP (sponsored by D), and my current very intense project just got extended. Proj told me it's cool if I roll off and get something more chill (cont.)

I worked at an agency where the CEO actually pushed back all small projects from the client because it was too taxing on their staff. I applaud this loudly as it's been getting out of hand and there is so much turnover at agencies. Has anyone else seen C Levels push back on their client(s) for the health of the agency and it's employees?
