5 month ago I joined Ceridian IT as remote. Due to nature of work, I have very little to no involvement with other parts of my team. I like what I do, pay is ok, manager is not so involved. That’s pretty much my life rn. With all the news about recession and what not, what do you think about Ceridian’s future?

I quit my job on Tuesday this week. Two days later, my fiancé who worked in the same department as me got terminated unexpectedly and with no prior warning or any prior communications about performance worries or anything else. Hey! I work at a healthcare start up and I earn $95k an year as a Software Engineer II based out on Austin, TX. Recently I interviewed with Visa, Austin and got an offer for the Senior Software Engineer role with base - $125k and a sign on bonus - $10k which totals to $135k overall comp. When I tried negotiating the base salary they said that the comp team isn’t budging on it due to team metrics and my experience (2.5 years as SDE). Is this a good offer to take?
