How much did you save up before buying your first home (condo, co-op, etc.)?

My partner bought a new truck earlier this month. We’re hoping to joint-purchase our first home next spring. Is there a “best” time to get pre-approved for a mortgage? When should we start the home buying process?

So far we’ve kept our head in the realtor apps to see what the market is doing.

Hello 🐠- I have an option of buying an investment townhome of 630k in a nice area that might have an appreciation. I think it’s over expensive but don’t want to discard before exploring options.

When you are long options and positive, is there a % you always sell?

I scaled into SPY calls for September on the 18th and they are up about 130%. I always cut at 50% no matter what because I don’t want to be too greedy.
