PwC 3 yes it's more than associate but in order for campus recruiting, you need a couple years experience with firm first
Curious too. But I know not as much as client services
Following
Between $60,000 and $70,000. Depends on how many years you've been with the firm prior to taking that position and depends on location. But that salary is for the New England area.
That's more than I make as an associate ^
I'm a second year associate and I surely will make nowhere near 70k in a mid-upper COL city
I don't think it matters if you're in audit or tax to make the switch, but talk to recruiting first to see if you're able to make the move. Explain to them your reasons for wanting to make the switch and see what steps you need to take to get there. Also, if you just hate accounting I wouldn't suggest focusing on that as your reason. Make sure you elaborate on how recruiting with the firm means to you and how passionate you are about guiding people, etc.
The campus recruiter at my former firm made it to audit senior then became a campus recruiter because she hated audit. I believe she makes $70,000 or a little more as a recruiter, which isn't bad considering it's one of the "easiest" jobs you could have at a big four firm.
When you say experience in the firm, they want you to have experience in tax or audit? I worry if I ask to make the switch my team would just be beyond pissed at me for leaving them and bad mouth me to recruiting
In south east they make between 55-65k however raises are never above 1-2k with very little bonuses. But all the other perks are the same as everyone else
I'm interested at transferring from audit to campus recruiting after completing first year, and realize it needs to be at least 2 years.
