Just got a promotion for Senior Consultant. I’m wondering what TC (base+bonus) I should ask for.
I got a job offer from a small, relatively unknown firm. I've worked for a larger firm for most of my career. Taking the offer would mean a decent raise, but I'm a bit nervous to leave the comfort of my large firm. What should I do?
I have been offered a lateral move within my company to a role I (believe) I will be more interested in that will suit my skills more. However, I’ve now been offered a promotion in my existing Role, and have heard that this is a pretty big deal and almost fast track to Director. Am I mad to pass up a promotion for a lateral move that is unlikely to promote me for some time?? I’ve been in my existing role almost 2yr. Will it affect my future growth? I’m 30 so would love to be a director soon
I am in PDM Specialist/ senior consultant 1 &2. This is my promotion year. How do i conform the next title is PDM specialist 2 or the PDM manager?

Hi fishes, Any idea only mid year promotion cases are being considered in December, 2022?
So approximately three months ago I accepted a customer service position with a newly “corporate owned company” it was previously locally owned by a local owner. I accepted $15 an hour of the job offer. Previously I worked as a Quality Support Specialist and I am most definitely, as the company is aware, overqualified for my current position. I requested a $3 raise and was denied. That would have essentially bumped my pay up to $18 an hour. Previously, I made $22 in my last job. This job offers

So I'm new to IT field and got only 1 year experience in automation testing using Tosca, I got training in java and selenium and I studied selenium myself in free time to learn more in testing, I'm thinking to make a switch next year. How much of a pay raise should I expect? And can I get referrals for QA engineers from companies like Accenture or TCS or other big tech companies? I'm a newbie so it'll be helpful if someone could guide me thanks
Have people received inflationary raises? My dad received a letter stating that they’re giving him a 6.5% raise + a one time lump sum of $750 bc of inflation, retroactive to July 1st. He works for a university and is part of a union. Kind of feel like my company is being shady because I work in CRE & we do raises + bonuses in February which was when I was planning to ask for an inflationary raise. But I feel like a lot of companies have done this without having their employees ask?
Hi, when can one expect promotion from level 6 to 6A, or 6 to 5? Or is it directly after 2 years? Also, 6 to 6A, what is hike percentage after promotion in Brillio?
Got 37.08% hike from ASE to SE promotion based on techleap. Just wondering if any Manager or HR can clear. Why is it .08% I mean is it calculated based on some parameters or something.
Also what will be my new variable pay percentage at ASE level it was 8.5%
PS - Genuine question.
I was wondering what’s the usual pay rise one gets with a promotion as an underwriter. I am an associate underwriter due to get promoted to underwriter 1

Im a rising third year and I've already reached the point where i just dont care anymore. Im tired all the time and even when work is slow, im still tired. Probably because i just dont care about the work im doing. This is a long career and im starting to worry (kinda ironic after I said idc..) that if im like this at year 3, how will I survive?
Recruiters: how important are the descriptions in someone’s LinkedIn under their jobs they’ve had? Would those help visibility? Or do you mostly care about just having the title?
Hey, friends! I’ve been asked to give some workshops on the business of art. How much should I charge for something like this? For context, I’m an NYC actor with 6+ years of experience spanning nationally recognized regional theatre credits, audiobooks narrations with large publishing houses and one primetime network tv role. Interested clients are mostly student orgs at colleges/universities with theatre programs as well as arts nonprofits for high schoolers, so not massive budgets. Thanks!

2 months before we sent everyone home in 2020 we rolled out a "Dress your Day" policy that allowed for professional jeans (dark wash, little to no fade, not skinny jeans/jeggings). Now that we are starting to filter back into the office we are noticing a lot of "slippage" of the dress code. Examples; hoodies, athletic shoes, overalls, tight/light jeans, etc. We are open to adapting our policy and would like to know what others are doing. What is too casual in your firm?

Regional firms tend to pay better to get people to go there. A regional I interviewed with beat my starting salary at PwC by 6 grand
OP, if they are hiring, you might be able to get the senior title and a starting salary around the upper $70’s if you are what they are looking for. I had a friend get an offer for $75k as an S1 in their Miami office. Super high for that market!
That does seem insane. NYC? Still insane but I am curious .
I’ve heard Marcum pays very well compared to most firms. But in general you should remember mid-size and regional firms generally pay more at the lower levels. It helps them stay competitive when recruiting as they don’t have the B4 name
This was NY!. 75k in Miami sounds nice too
