I’m sometimes stunned by how poorly asked some questions are coming from this group. How can we possibly answer with this little info.

Depends where and what type of trip. 5 days at an all inclusive resort is much cheaper than 5 days in Sweden where you’re paying for meals, drinks, transportation, activities.

Not enough info. I’ve taken 5 day vacations hiking in the mountains that have cost me less money than it takes to live normally. I’ve taken 5 day vacations where I’ve splurged and spent thousands. What are you looking for in your 5 day trip?

We price check before we take a trip to know what our budget should be for the location. Trip Advisor is a good place to figure out activities and costs associated. Check the airline calendars on best fly days then plan around it. We are a family of two and budget $50 a day per person for food + $500 for fun.
Overall, our yearly budget for trips, both long term and weekend getaways, is $10k a year because that is what our budget can allow.

$4-10K for 2 folks across flights, hotels and food. Usually if the flight / hotel is free with points will splurge more on the food.
For two people: $500-$1,000 per day for hotel food, rides, drinks, and entertainment. Flight is separate.
