Is it a money saving idea to move to Florida or Texas? Recently lot of people are moving to those states as there is no state tax. Is it really financially beneficial? Is there anyone in the group who recently made the change?

I was working in IT for 2 yrs in SQL(2.6LPA - 2008), aft msters I worked in England for 1 yr in requirement analysis, client management & process mapping(£36K LPA- 2011). I quit my job to be an entreprenuer for 9 years. Due to covid, I took a job as data engg and working in SQL, SSIS & SAS for last 1year. I am getting 8LPA. Many say that I am lucky to get an IT job after 9yr gap.I don't consider 9years as a gap obviously I was working for my biz.I feel I am underpaid.Pls shr ur thgts

Does anyone have an interview prep schedule that worked really well for them? For example doing leetcode once a day for 2 months. Also, any advice on keeping yourself motivated thought the process? I know some people start prepping months ahead of time. I’m finding it hard to keep myself motivated and practice consistently. By the end of my work day, I’m too tired to do anything else (I usually work 9 hours a day) and I worry that only prepping on the weekend might not be enough.

I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I think my social skills have essentially been erased by the pandemic. My company went back to the office a couple of weeks ago and I feel like it’s my first day at a new school or something. How am I supposed to get anything done? Anyone else somehow come out of this thing even more awkward than they already were?

So, I work with a “Karen,” for lack of a better word. She is constantly nosing around everyone’s business, butting into conversations and trying to inject herself into projects she has nothing to do with. She’s also constantly running back to our team leads and managers, basically throwing us under the bus at any chance she gets. They don’t seem to notice, or maybe it’s that they don’t care. She’s also related to one of the VPs, so I doubt complaining would do me any good. I do love my job and most of my colleagues, and I’d hate to give all of that up over one annoying co-worker. Anyone ever have to deal with someone like this? Any advice?
