OP did you receive an offer? And if so from which office? I’m currently interviewing for a similar role at Capital One.

I heard it's about ~$171k, but what's your YOE?

like

I've seen that number thrown around too, but yeah I assume it's an estimate/average. YOE and location probably feed into what an actual offer will look like.

I've seen anywhere from $165k to over $200k. I would assume that Cap One, being a bigger company, would pay on the higher end.

I’ve been reading more about how there’s a difference between how men socialize and how women socialize at work. There’s a school of thought that says that men are “friends” outside of work with their coworkers so they are more likely to lift each other at work. Women however are more likely to separate their work friends and their social friends. I think I fall in this group. Cont in comment

The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

After three months of job search, I started for 45K at a construction company as a Jr App Support. After a year I shifted in to QA for 65k and now after a year of QA, I have finally gotten a position as a software engineer for 78K base.

The imposter syndrome is finally gone!

Hang in there, hard work pays off.
