I've been working for 6 months as a recruiting temp. My original contract was dec-march. Then we mutually extended it when I had another offer for March. They then offered me full-time but I was interested in another role in another department. They agreed and I'm going to be working the 'temp to hire' role in the new department.

Am I allowed to ask for a new hourly rate for this 'new' role? I took the original rate due to covid necessity but would have asked for more if it was temp-to-hire.

I have about 5years of work ex. Although i didn't start in product domain, I later on switched to it.
I have a standing offer of ~23LPA- all fix (jump from 17.3). This is an absolute WFH role. I think i low balled myself by at least 20%.

That been said, I have couple of more prospects lined up, which are about to make me an offer. These roles are based out of Bangalore.

How to get a product manager role with no technical background? My training and experience are in Finance/corporate strategy. I have been working in the technology business operation field for 4 years now(another 6 years in pure Finance). Has anyone ever had to sign a non-compete? The contract I have in an offer has a clause that states I cannot go to a competitor for a 2 year restriction period following my termination of employment.
