Only use my work. Use it for personal things like paying bills, online shopping, checking email, resume, job hunting, LinkedIn
All the time. I keep single machine and smart phone!
Same
Just get an iPad
Always. Haven’t used my personal laptop in years
Everything except xxx on my work computer
I carry both every week. Strict separation. But I have a side hustle so that explains it. However you should consider that your work laptop is just that and whilst it’s fine to use for browsing Facebook etc, you should consider everything being tracked. On another note... if you want a 12” super light MacBook that I used for a long time as my second laptop I have one for sale! Top spec and only $450!
Startup funded in part by my earnings. Figured I can support a team with 60% of my earnings, keep working and be better off with a future option that if it takes off I can jump to. Better risk management than jumping ship for a start-up.
iPad Pro for casual private stuff and company notebook for excel/office. No need for a „private“ pc anymore.
*laughs in gaming battlestation*
We can’t upload attachments to anything or plug in any external drives on work laptops so it necessitated a separate tablet for me- I got a surface pro
When traveling, I use my work computer, within reason. Paying bills, buying things online, watching Netflix. But when I'm home, or know I'll have access to my personal laptop soon, I don't do those things on my work laptop. I mentally prefer the separation, particularly on the weekends. And I'd rather not my employer have all of that personal information about me.
Only personal things I do on my work pc are browsing and checking emails.
I don't really like how my work laptop performs, so I use my personal for everything but work. I would probably use the work one more if it was a better machine.
Personal emails, web browsing (sports/news/LinkedIn). Did some initial resume editing but then sent to my personal accounts.
Now just use an iPad Pro and it’s fine for 95% of what I need.
