Recruiter told me the team wants to bring me in for an interview & he would reach out to schedule it in 2 days. That was 2 weeks ago, flaky recruiters will make you change your mind on the company..!

Hello
This was my first attempt H1B and got approved. I did my MS and plan to go back home after few years.
Is it worth doing MBA ? Many people told me that since you are already in big4 you dont need one.
My target is to get in MBB down the line.

I’ve lived in my apartment for less than a year and the lease is almost up. My roommate has been here for many years and the property management company hasn’t been here once since she moved it. Her and previous roommates have mounted paintings, TVs etc. My last month rent is due and I’m inclined not to pay it and let them keep the security deposit to cover the last month. I know it’s messed up but I just feel like I’m going to get screwed. Am I a terrible person?

I’m struggling to be a good ally for people who are transgender & could use some advice. I recognize my privilege as a gay man and have been championing ways to bring visibility to transgender people, their experiences and stories at work. I also recognize the burden shouldn’t fall entirely on people who identify as transgender. Here lies the challenge: I can’t personally speak on the experiences of transgender people so my approach is to surface content from those who do. (More in 1st comment)

What is the one thing you have learnt about yourself in the face of this pandemic?

Is it just a coincidence or was Trump actually effective in keeping the peace in the Middle East? There were ongoing incidents, but no such major flare-ups in the last four years. I wonder if Biden really has no influence over MBS, Netanyahu and other key players to de-escalate.

What is your favorite thing about work?

I’ll go first … when I’m on the bench and basically have nothing to work on

Could someone please enlighten me..
I don't understand why people often split their work experience to pre and post MBA. I know quite a few MBAs that share my title that do the same work that I do, so not sure what makes the difference. Besides dropping that they have an MBA.
I've never heard of anyone split their experience pre and post CPA, PhD, or the like.
