80/hr for personal trainer holy!! I’m getting another part time job

I use to be a 1:1 personal trainer (actually still but it’s a couple of private clients). It’s sales first. Then client management - if they are not seeing results (most of the time they just won’t follow your plan) it will churn and you have to hunt again.

I did while I was a professional as a side gig. You have to consider your time and your client’s time. It will be either super early in the morning or after work and weekends.

I also didn’t mention the certs and insurance you need if you are an independent.

If you still want to pursue this as a side gig - teach classes (I still do). Think of it as classes as B2B and 1:1 training is B2C. Teaching classes is harder to break into (you have to audition) but if you get it, it can be sticky and consistent. Whereas, 1:1 training has a higher churn rate - granted if you find the right one it can be clients for life. I still have a couple I train who I been training for over 10 years.

You can make $40-50 per class and then do a side class for small group training (I would charge 20 per person for a group of 6).

I also get my vacations (resorts will pay me) paid because I also teach classes at resorts for 7 days at a time and teach one class a day while I’m on vacation. I contacted high end resorts and built relationships with them and this has been pretty good.

To answer: $80 is very reasonable but look into packages (20 sessions for example - pay up front) and your per session rate can be cheaper.

Thats cheap. Usually is $100+

Cheap. I charged around that much in ~2007.

You and I were trainers around the same time!

Pretty reasonable nowadays. I pay like $60 per session because got it through a package deal and before they increased prices across the board.

Chicago Tribune:
Huge crowd gathers at Rotary Hill near Naperville District 203 offices to demand area schools reopen.
Hundreds of Naperville-area parents & students rallied Monday to urge local school boards to bring students back to the classroom and the playing field.

Hmm...so all these parents just want to send their kids into schools do die, right? And kill all the teachers and their families too. All out of pure selfishness.

Hello, All! I'm looking for recommendations on inspirational content for women leaders. I follow TEDWomen, many podcasts, and the Women's Conference among other sources. I'd love to hear a fresh perspective on business, trends, tech, marketing, equality in the workforce, etc. I'd love to learn something new. I'm at the VP level and have started a couple of companies, so nothing too junior, but open to many topics. Please share any speakers, books, webinars, or events that you may come across.

What is the best way to find a mentor for your personal ambitions and financial/investing goals?

To clarify, I graduated college in August, I just started my full time job, and I own/operate a business I started in my Junior year of college. I am eager to work with someone that can guide me when it comes to growing my income(both short and long-term) as a full-time employee, entrepreneur and aspiring real estate investor.
I understand this may be too vague, but any tips/insight is appreciated
