I’m in my mid 20s and during/since college have been a pretty heavy drinker. Almost all weekends, some weekdays as well. Nothing dependent yet, but I did do dry january to kind of prove to myself that I’m not dependent and to re-assess my relationship with alcohol. I feel good and am proud of going the whole month so far, but physically I’m not noticing a huge change other than not being hungover on weekends. Anyone have encouraging words/advice/experience? Was it worth it?

Anyone doing internal product management? I have been hired as a senior product manager by the people tech IT team at a big company. TC = 180k, with yearly promotions of ~25% increases. Likely path to partner in 5 years, making ~450-550k TC.

2. PE Associate at a boutique, non-US.

TC = 250k, no clear promotion path.

MDs make >450k, potentially reaching 1-2M in good years. Absolutely no idea how long it would take or if it would even be possible at this boutique.
Also, MBA-sponsored. Would have to payback 180k in tuition in case of choosing (2).
