Hi there! After almost 4 years without working (relocated from Argentina to the US, got pregnant and decided to raise my son) I have started to look for a job almost 2 months ago. How do you all set boundaries and keep work from creeping into your time with your family every day? As a new mom going back to work I’m finding this to be difficult. I was always available and did whatever needed to be done before having a child, but now I really want to be able to shut down at the end of the day and be done, so I can soak up time with my baby.

So I feel I must do a shoutout to this bowl.. I had my first child when I was 17 worked my ass off and finished my masters. I ended up at Accenture in an internal role when I was invited to fb. 2 under 2 moms - when does it get easier ? My older is 3 and younger is 11 months and I thought the struggle will be done when baby is almost a year however it seems getting worse . My older is really jealous and can’t share dad with baby and we are always managing one kid per person. Me and husband end up fighting a lot . The baby is much easier personality however has some health challenges so not sleep trained. We have a nanny , daycare(part time) and exhausted after throwing all money.

He joined h3xaware as fresher this year and has unknowingly declared medical insurance for parent. As I am already having another medical coverage for them. Is there a way to opt out of the insurance from portal.
It caused a deduction of 2k from his salary and is not required.

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.

I was given an verbal offer yesterday for a great job as an account manager for a new company. The verbal salary offer came in 2k short of what I told them my minimum salary requirements would be. The job has great perks and to be honest I still may take the offer if they reject my counter.

The other thing is how much more should I ask for? Hypothetically if I wanted 50k and they offered me 48k, how much should I ask for in the counter, I was thinking maybe 5k more
