I have a month long hotel stay for work. The final bill will be just under $5k. Is it better to break this up over the two pay periods or just submit for reimbursement for the whole thing at the end?
A potential collaborator with a similar skill set and experience said (during negotiations with me) they would charge a 15% premium to me on top of their fees if they were positioned as part of my company vs as their own company. Meaning they would be pushing that fact and their company name with the client unless I laid them this fee. I found the client and sold in the project without their help though my contacts. I have never heard of this. We are both solo operators. Thoughts?
On my 3rd job in 2 years (consultant for a year, then left for a new company that was impacted by COVID. My new role is not very interesting and can be very pigeon holed at times. The pay and benefits are top notch, which are keeping me here. Is it too soon to jump again for something I’m more interested in or is it better to wait?

When is the best time to leave the firm? I’m in tax and most of my projects end 10/15 with a few small lingering projects post 10/15, so will be chill til 2021. Was planning on leaving early January before the crazy provision/audit season. Wasn’t planning on finding another job before I leave Bc I’m just so burnt out. Probably going to take a 1-3 month mental break. What should I watch out for? What are some things I should start preparing for? Health insurance, etc. any advice would help.
