Non-equity? Like $170k-$185k in NYC
I’m curious to know. Probably like $165k if I had to guess
Yes asking about non-equity partners.

OP, if you’re an incoming non equity partner at a reputable ID firm, you should accept nothing less than $200k. These other posts about 170-180k is laughable as a partner.
It depends on location, really.
These responses are horrifying. I'm a 3rd year associate in Atlanta ID firm and make $183k.

I can agree with A2 to extent. The rates are low in ID, it’s a race to the bottom, therefore which makes it that there is a ceiling on what associates can make. It really depends on the firm what they charge per hour for those different areas. If you’re at an AmLaw ID firm, you’re rates will be higher therefore there’s more potential to make more. You have the ability to make up to 200k as a senior associate. A non equity parter, or of counsel position, will have higher rates than a senior associate and therefore they can reach up to $220k salary or more. I’ve made a thread about what ID attorneys make with everyone weighing in on what they make. I made that thread to show how underpaid some attorneys are based on YOE, cost of living, etc.
It depends on your field & rate but generally between $170-$200K for nonequity in NYC. if you do coverage, excess or EPLI, it might be higher
