But the Sharechat role is not much technical and I am having doubt about the growth in latter career stage.

Asking for wife who's also in banking. If she got ~$100k in signing bonus in 2019 for 1 year commitment in CA and started FT in July 2020, assuming she leaves before July 2021, can her employer claw back full amount in California? Some say it's much tougher to do so under CA law but wonder if anyone has any insights. Banks won't likely care about analyst signing bonuses, but associate bonus at EB with diversity bonus can be significant. If she quits before, she won't be going to another bank.

I am currently working at one of the top tier company (service based)at a project which has come to like and end and very minimal work is there and the team wont give release since they have a minimal workforce and they kind outilize us for their support. As a budding developer I think its kind of a waste of time even though i can alawys keep leaening. Recently I got an offer from Infosys . Had my performance review August 3rd. My boss could tell I was upset about a messily 5% raise after getting my degree etc. (recent post). He asked what range I’d like to be in, and I responded in a fashionable matter by comparing median salaries in the area. He said he would try and get me in that range. But has taken over a month to “think” about it. There shouldn’t really be much to think about? Either he wants me or he doesn’t, right? At this point I’m losing money and and motivation.

Wanted to know the average salary as I've an interview in couple of days.

I work in tech and have been at my current company for 6+ years now. I'm basically a senior level data analyst and I'm really the only person at my company with that skill set so I get A LOT of high priority requests from every dept. It can get overwhelming.
The idea was just floated to hire and train 2 analysts to work beneath me so that I can focus more on strategy, big picture and optimizations. Should I be asking for a raise and title change? I did get a pretty decent raise in February too.

Should I keep my new job or boomerang back to my old job? The new job pays 50K more base, 25K more bonus and I get 40K a year consulting for the old job so around 115K difference in cash (not counting equity).

So why even consider going back to the old job? The new job keeps me busy 12+ hours a day while the old job is a coast at 1-2 hours a day max.

My idea is not to enjoy the free time and sit on my *ss, but to figure out side gigs, passive income streams or even start a startup. (more)
