How frequent are team changes in advisory? I spent 3 years on the same audit client. I joined kpmg advisory in January and I've been on 3 teams in the last year here.

Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.

My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.

Does pay in corporate max out at a certain point unless you make C-Suite? Thinking fp&a track specifically.

What careers are there after IT Audit. Would you recommend staying until you are a manager or just a senior? Would you recommend getting your MBA?

New Senior 3 here, I am unsure what I should try to specialize in out of the FAAS offerings. They all sound pretty interesting, and it seems like most manager+ level are aligned with a service pillar. Which of the below would provide best exit opp / pay?

1. TAAG: Technical accounting
2. Transactions: Assume this is deals support like CMAAS?
3. ESG and Sustainability
4. Finance Optimization (ERP Implementation)
5. Treasury / Risk Management / Financial instrument (not sure about details tho)

I was having a really bad day (just found out a relative had passed, more than normal work stress, ect) and just really had a tough time gathering my thoughts.
