What's the best way to help a student catch up after a while away from school? I have a student who missed 3 months (Aug-Nov) whose coming back next week and I feel like a packet to take home just isn't enough. Ladies, I commend all of you who are pregnant and lawyering on the daily! I am 10 weeks pregnant and haven’t been working much since I left my firm in March. I tell my husband every day “IDK how anyone is pregnant and practicing law at the same time.” After a morning in court last month I was totally out of commission for the day. If you are still working as a lawyer full time and growing a human it is something to be proud of!

I just got diagnosed with ADHD at 30. After years of being the weird one, problem child and dealing with my own mental and sensory overload issues I’m so relieved to have a diagnose I could cry. I am now getting recommendations to avoid medication and try therapy. Can anyone speak to that approach? I kind of feel like I’m getting that recommendation because people don’t believe ADHD is a real issue.
