Was interviewing with a hiring manager whose team happened to be all-male. When I asked what a candidate could do to be successful in the role, he started the sentence with "He would need to..." 🤦🏻‍♀️

We have this associate who is former army special forces. He’s an okay lawyer, looks like a biker with a beard and a sleeve tattoo, but all the partners freaking love him. They’re constantly asking him about the army or he’ll have a bunch of them around him telling them about some nuts military training thing or kicking down doors in Afghanistan. I can’t handle it. Anyone has extreme caffeine sensitivity here? I stopped drinking coffee since September because Everytime I would drink coffee, I would get really anxious and jittery a few hours after. Today, I was feeling sick so decided to make chai for myself. Black tea does have some amount of caffeine so I got very jittery 2-3 hours after consuming it. Our firm is establishing our target billable %'s at a small public accounting firm. Is there a website that gives target billable time % by staff level for the tax and accounting industry? Just started poking around the AICPA website, but would appreciate being able to save some time looking for it. I'm used to a lower % rate than what's being proposed (70% vs 85%) and don't want to cause undue pressure on staff, but do want to give a reasonable billable hours expectation going forward.
