Kinda sick of consulting. Want to move into something with more technical skills. Working on learning programming from scratch right now. Understand that this kind of shift means going from Director (my current level at PwC) to entry level. Other than the immediate salary drop, any cons I should be thinking about?

Anyway to standout to firms when headhunters send resume to firms? I’m in contact with all of the leading headhunters (e.g., CPI, ratio, amity, hsp, DSP) that handle most of the top consultant friendly firms, and they email about ops and send my resume, but I just get a limited amount of interviews. I know LEK is not MBB so I know that is definitely a headwind, but anything I could do to try and get interviews? Thanks in advance

I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?
My current tech stack is Python, Pyspark, Hive, SQL, ML, DL(specifically NLP based). I have already done MS in CS from IIT Kgp.
