For folks who have left MBB to go to another role in consulting or industry, what typically matters more, total YOE or the level at which you leave MBB? Also are YOE at MBB/consulting typically valued as more valuable than YOE elsewhere when applying for exit ops?
So with a Mixed skill of project management and functional system implementation experience, what exit opportunities can I pursue?
Anyone work at McKesson that can provide insight on company/role for the Business Process Consultant position.

I’m an in-house litigator interested in transitioning to a hybrid litigation (50%) and diversity and inclusion (50%) role. Career suicide? Will it work or will I end up doing 2 jobs?
Are there PhDs here who transitioned to consulting at MBB, EY-P, Altman Solon etc. I am a PhD candidate ( Earth Sciences) at UIUC and have begun seriously considering a career in consulting. I am looking for advice and/or mentorship on: 1. Crafting a consulting resume and cover letter 2. Networking as an advanced degree, how important it is? While I am in touch with some consultants from my academic background, I haven’t looked at the relationship as a potential referral as of yet.
I just accepted a position with KPMG's Advisory Practice. Any insight about culture/worklife balance, leadership, expectations, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
Browsing through some tech role exit opportunities out there. Which of these three companies would you rather work for? HubSpot, Salesforce, or Charles Schwab?
Currently at 2.5 yoe. Is it worth it to apply for strategy associate/analyst positions or business analyst positions, etc? Hoping to find a high growth position that pays well
I recently started (5/mo ago) at a new agency and everything is a 180 from my last role and I’m honestly getting discouraged. Everything from pitching style and media approach to the types of clients (I was told in the interview process I was going to be working with some clients but that has totally shifted) and I feel like my experience and expertise is both not valued and ideas shot-down at every turn. How can I turn this experience around?
I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.

I got a job offer at Apple and I’m so conflicted. I nor my boyfriend are just thrilled to live in California, but this opportunity is incredible. He is not willing to move with me or be long distance so I’d be in a position to where this could not only impact my relationship but I could also miss out on a job opportunity of a lifetime. Any advice? I am feeling like I’m picking between my career and relationship. It sucks. For context, we’ve been together 2 years and live together.
Is Accenture hiring like crazy? Does anyone know the pay range for Manager in Management Consulting? Does it differ within the practice?
I’ve been through 5 exit op interviews and always end up failing the case interview. No matter how much I prep or practice, I always end up pigeonholing myself while doing a deep dive and get (1/2)
Moving from consulting to engineering? Started out in CS and had internships and a short job as an engineer before I moved into consulting. I have been enjoying in a lot but am scared that I won’t be able to move back into engineering if I stay too long. Anyone have similar experience or advice? Have I already made myself a worse candidate by taking a non-engineering role or can I say that it allowed me to bolster my soft skills?

Getting married soon. Want to bring up the mgmt of finances conversation. We both are in the high income bracket in a HCOL city. But had different starting points with me having been in higher paying job for longer, which means we might have different current savings. Not that this matters much as we both are not dingy about who pays for what day to day. But curious to know what are the best practices in terms of: 1. Things to discuss before wedding on finances 2. How to split cost of livingetc
Not sure what it's like everywhere else, but there seemed to be extra security at MCO today. Not sure if it's standard procedure here, but all security lines pass a bomb sniffing dog
Looking for advice on how to career pivot. My husband is a general manager for a company that has HQ in a different state so growth opps are limited unless we move. How do I help him pivot into a more corporate job somewhere before it’s too late and he’s pegged as a boots on the ground GM? He has so much potential but I feel like all people see on his resume is that he’s a GM of a location as opposed to an operations leader especially when applying to jobs on LinkedIn. Looking for jobs in ATL.
