HHI 465. we’re a one car household driving a paid off 2005 Honda Civic that we put a few hundred in regular maintenance into each year.

We don’t have a driveway. And again, I’ve made it 20 years of driving with looking around, checking my mirrors and being aware of my surroundings and have never had any form of an accident. I’m not really sure what you are getting out of being oddly judgmental about other peoples decisions. There are a lot of decisions and options people have about all things in life, including what cars they drive, and I answered your question about what worked for us. You’ll get a lot more answers on these bowls that more closely resemble your decisions, which works. So does ours. I’m gonna now out of this, but might I recommend not implying that people you don’t know just willy bully out kids in danger.

Mmm, I mainly use car sharing apps.

I am in Eastern Europe, and paying around $200 a month... And mostly go shopping, different trips, appointments.

I am in my 20s, as for now I do not need a car.

Paid off 2015 Prius here in SoCal with 34000 miles on it because I now permanently WFH. It’s essentially cost me $400 in new tires this past year.

True but it also means I’m taking that car park Kent and investing it. I drove BMW’s for almost 20 years but after I bought my home in San Diego seven years ago I realized how impractical it was to have a status symbol car. Next stop? All electric vehicle.

Hello, I am wondering if I should sell my house or wait a few years. I am in GA. I was initially selling to move to a better school district for my foster daughter. The new area may be potentially safer as well. If I put the house on the market now, people will come in, I am facing exposure to covid, I am working from home. If I don’t put it on the market, the market may crush soon. Dilemma....
