How much is the total compensation (base + bonus) of a third year engagement manager at MBB/Other big four & ACN strategy practice?

I’m being paid under market. My boss realized this and just gave me a big raise off-cycle without me asking. However, I have now received a job offer from another company for 40k above my new salary (with the raise). I want to leverage the offer for more at my current job (my performance is very strong and even with the raise I believe I’m still under market). Is this a bad idea? How would you frame the conversation?

Hey, I'm in Biotech sales in the UK and wondered if anyone as knowledge of average basic? It seems that these roles are more based on OTE and salary ranges for entry levels appear to be low. These jobs seem to advertise for 30-40k basic. My experience of recruiters in this sector have said that my salary is quite high (50k) yet I know folks on 70-80k. Any insight on market rate would be appreciated.

What is a reasonable base/total comp for a Sr PM in the current market (non-FAANG)?

I bought an EV cost around 70k total and my husband is mad about it. It’s my first new car I buy for myself, I used to just take public transportation but it become inconvenient because I live outside the city. My base is 110k and bonus around 10-15% and he make around 60k. We pay 2.1k for mortgage but rent out 2 rooms which we get additional 1k/month. He already paid off his car. So I don’t know why he’s so mad about it and how to explain for him that I can handle it myself.

Hello, I am writing because I need some guidance from other women. I am the subject matter expert on a project, which I have been on for nearly 2 years at my firm. In the last year a new college hire junior associate was brought on board to replace another associate who left the firm. The directive from my manager was to train him to help him learn my field. I am 10 hours a week on the project he is FT. Despite regular meetings to help him grow and learn, he believes he knows everything. He is Condescending, arrogant and unwilling to learn. Today he took me to task in an email and copied our boss. He made it appear that I gave the client erroneous information which I did not.
