Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google

Get the sign on and relocation bonus. Plus more equity definitely. L6 should be around 300-320k
C1, why would relocation be offered unless you have to move…?

Please share overall RSU offered - total for 4 years. This is what we calculate as part of TC.
Also, now the vesting schedule is a bit different from new offers and not 25/25/25/25 anymore.

You’ve gotten higher standard bonus than most.

OP is correct. It increases by level. 20% for L6 is standard.
It is also quite normal to get more than your target bonus as yoh grow into your role (ie. I’ve gotten 19-23% for 15% target bonus in past few years based on performance)
Were you offered a signing bonus? There may be room to negotiate on that

Are these first set of numbers? Have you shared TC expectations? Do you have competing offers?
No competing offers since pursuits at AWS, FB, etc didn’t work out. I have not explicitly shared my TC expectations yet, but the recruiter shared these figures during our initial call.
