[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

My contract as an EVP says 3 months
Ditto reciprocal 3 month notice period
Wow! 3 months seems so long. My contract says 14 days but that seems relatively short for team size, continuity, etc. When the time comes, I’ll likely offer a month or 6 weeks and see what they say. Thank you!
I suppose it depends on industry, size of company, and if you manage clients. 3 months gives time to find a solution and communicate a plan. In a client service business, 2 weeks could be detrimental to the company you’re leaving.

My contract has a 6 month notice period both ways. I thought it was crazy, but European company. I presume if I replace myself all things are negotiable
