I’d wait for something else. Unless you’re in a very specific niche (with rare job openings) or are in a “T3” city with limited exits (and unable to relocate), you should be able to find something which pays closer to what you make... really, you should be able to find something which pays you more, unless you’re going to a startup or something

I will say - if you’re applying to industry, you don’t need to separate yourself resume out by engagement but rather billet points by the list of skills/key achievements you have. That might help you get the right exit with the compensation you want. (No one in industry will know the difference between you working on a DoorDash engagement vs VitaminWater for ex) And just keep applying, esp if you’re looking for NYC, you’re bound to find something else at the salary level you make currently

It depends

I’d like to ask for 135k plus 10k sign-on since I’m forfeiting 5k bonus and another 8-9k in unvested 401k. Is that reasonable? I’d be ok with 130k and 5k sign-on

Cyber: EY vs Accenture - which do you think will give me better exit ops when up for Manager (2-3yrs)? Accenture seems very ahead of the game when it comes to tech, but im also trying to get less hands-on implementation and more into strategy and selling, which seems like it might align more with EY. These are just gut feelings tho, would like input from people in the know.
