I heard Accenture pays more than McKinsey
McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company been working here one year and received pretty positive feedback. Given the expectation for people of my tenure to transition to EM in a year or so, I can’t see myself staying due to the WLB as an EM. I’m 35 and have 2 young kids. Can it even be realistically done? Would love to stay but I don’t see a balance which would keep my family happy. What options do I have from there?

KPMG I’m confused on your referral process. Had a friend refer me before I made an account, made an account, applied to two jobs and got rejected (that’s fine). But if I want to apply to a third job, will it still be under her referral or do I need a new referral? (She said she can’t refer me again for 12 months) I’m not even sure if I applied correctly under her referral. The first two jobs I applied for were through talent community as I normally would without a referral. Help, I’m so lost :(

Yes, because she's a woman. If it was Donald Trump's face on exactly Hillary Clinton's words and actions, running vs the real Donald Trump, the majority of America would have voted the Hillary version.
I'm a woman and I think it had plenty to do with it. It's a subconscious bias that's underlying everything, from the moment she announced she was running and it was characterized as a "crazy" decision. People are not going to admit it or may not even realize it (hence, subconscious), but it can be detected in how much she was "hated" even before the scandals during the campaign, the amount of scrutiny she got for things that her male predecessors did and no one batted an eyelash, the fact that she was exonerated for a lot of things but the public still has their pitchforks out. There are some people who can't imagine a female president, and are willing to forgive Trump for a lot of the character flaws that they're hanging over Clinton (like the whole lying thing - Trump lies way more than Clinton but somehow that doesn't seem to bother these people).
Hillary lost to Trump... She will (deservedly) be considered one of the worst presidential candidates in history and it's not about her being a woman.
Thanks EY2! Why is it still so hard to be a strong woman in this country?

I'm with EY3, you are the sexist! It's people like you who just want to complain and have something to blame stuff on...zero accountability, zero class, zero dignity. This race was HRC's to lose. Her campaign and her voters discounted the underdog candidate. It has nothing to do with her being a woman. Smh.
OP, phrases like "mansplaining" are pretty demeaning.
Apparently op doesn't want people to have an opinion
Up to now no man or woman could get away with the way Trump acted! Now, I guess it will be open season on brash obnoxious behaviors.
BA1- Worse than Trump?? Oh God, here we go again. Can someone copy/paste all of Trump's scandals here?? I'm tired of this.
BA1 COMPARED TO TRUMP are you fucking kidding me
I feel certain that if the genders of these two candidates had been reversed, the outcome would have been as well. This was all about gender.
Well everyone here has a right to an opinion. But I hope that her camp ignores the woman angle and looks at the real issues that led to this.
Interesting how none of you have confirmed that you're men- even though you obviously are.
Whoever said it was trustworthiness and scandals. Do you not read the news? Trump had flipped on several issues.
A few Trump scandals: accused by 12 women of committing sexual assault (trial upcoming), scammed customers at his fake university, bought a six-foot-tall painting of himself with money from his fake foundation, has a trial for fraud coming up in November.
It is all about her being a woman
K1- Luckily, Seth Meyers did the work for us by summarizing:
Trump: called Mexicans rapists, claimed the president was born in Kenya, proposed banning an entire religion from entering the US, mocked a disabled reporter, said John McCain wasn’t a war hero because he was captured, attacked the parents of a fallen soldier, bragged about committing sexual assault, was accused by 12 women of committing sexual assault, said some of those women weren’t attractive for him to sexually assault, said more countries should get nukes, said that he would force the military to commit war crimes, said a judge was biased because his parents were Mexicans, said women should be punished for having abortions, incited violence at his rallies, called global warming a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese, called for his opponent to be jailed, declared bankruptcy six times, bragged about not paying income taxes, stiffed his contractors and employees, lost a billion dollars in one year, scammed customers at his fake university, bought a six-foot-tall painting of himself with money from his fake foundation, has a trial for fraud coming up in November, insulted an opponent’s looks, insulted an opponent’s wife’s looks, and bragged about grabbing women by the pussy.
None
We are ready for an honest and competent female president, have been for a long time.
It has little to do with her being a woman and more to do with performance of the incumbent party - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/05/12/this-professor-has-predicted-every-presidential-election-since-1984-hes-still-trying-to-figure-out-2016/
