How much of your calls are Spam /bs? I’ve had to get a receptionist service to answer calls because I get soooo much spam. Just me or new age?

We must be on a no call list because we don’t get any spam. Do you have a landline or cell line?

The federal and (in this) state do-not-call lists don’t apply to business-to-business calls.

Also, some of the calls come from overseas (the caller ID is spoofed), and those guys don’t care about the list.

Enough of them to make a receptionist worthwhile

We toured a new venue (just starting booking in August) and really love it. We’re now a little weary of working with them and don’t feel comfortable paying the same price for a new venue with no reviews as some established ones we’ve seen. Planning to try to negotiate on price before deciding

Young solo here w/ a question about fees: 1. A local solo criminal defense attorney has offered to pay me to go and make appearances before the Court on some of her cases to make announcements. (For example, “ready when reached”). I’m open to doing this and this attorney is asking what my fee would be? Does anyone have thoughts or opinions on what a reasonable fee would be to do something like this? Hourly? Flat Fee? 2. I want to ensure this is ethical. I don’t see an issue with this. Thoughts?

I was offered a partnership at a small firm I used to work at before my current also small firm. We had come to terms and I expected to inform my current firm. I’m torn because the other firm is under the impression I’m coming in as a partner. But I can’t turn away from the significant offer I have from my current firm, where I enjoy working. I need some words of wisdom from this esteemed bowl. I have been an associate for almost 2 years in civil litigation with my bread and butter being family and marital law.
