How much overtime work is expected from B4 staff studying for their CPA. Wondering how I should plan my studying

I have CPA and am thinking about getting another certification. CFA may be too difficult for me. Would CFP a better and useful certification to get that will add value to you on resume/job?

General question, and I suspect the answer is no. Are there any employment or exec comp-related jobs in the entertainment industry? Or, are there any law firms purely focused on entertainment that have a comp/employment/benefits group? I’m at a large firm with a lot of high profile artists, but I’d like to narrow my practice down to entertainment.

I wanted to join a FAANG company with a better package but I already have an offer from a firm with somewhat good package and I have been unable to get into FAANG after good efforts too , what should I do , should I go ahead with this other firm (and then keep trying FAANG) or should I wait to absolutely get into FAANG, it would be odd if I make it to FAANG after 3-4 months of joining another firm and then leave it.Please advise.

Does anyone know how to successfully transition from academia clinical research into industry clinical operations? I’m currently at a director level of a large research program in academia and oversee operations. Prior to that I was a clinical research coordinator with extensive trial experience from study startup-close out. I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.

I’m at a MM firm and have been stuck on mostly dental deals 1.5 years now. I’ve asked multiple times to have other experiences, but about 80% of my deals are dental, while new folks joining the firm are on other type of deals. Will I be pigeon holed if I stay on these dental deals? Should I leave at this point? I don’t hate it here deals, but I don’t want to be pigeonholed and hurt my career by staying.
