I Think parent should have realized by now how teachers play important roles not just in their kids life but also theirs.

Does anyone else feel the need to agree with counsel for other parties in cases where there are dozens of parties? Or when there are many attorneys attending a deposition, the need to limit your questions to make time for everyone? I’m young and it seems like I feel that pressure more than other senior attorneys in cases, and I wonder if I should adopt their mindset. I just want to also look reasonable amongst other local lawyers and not pompous or unnecessarily combative.

I've seen some negative comments about dividend investing. I think its a pretty good way as passive income. I am 23 and contribute to my Roth 401k but I've also had my own portfolio since I was 18. I've mainly been focused on dividend stocks and I'm now at $250 a year from dividends. How can this hurt in the long run?

My billable hours bonus requirement/target is 1900. Unless I pull a 300 hour month in December, I won’t be hitting that. The reason being is that in June, I had a parent pass which required me to travel overseas to take care of arrangements. I also had another family emergency in October that also required me to travel overseas. Do you guys think the firm will take this into consideration?

I am interested in hearing opinions on using a ROTH IRA vs or with a ROTH 401k. I currently contribute to a regular pre-tax 401k and a ROTH 401k and am interested in the ROTH IRA. It seems very similar to a ROTH401k but includes a limit on contributions and excludes my employers matching (obviously). I feel as though it isn't worth using since I am already utilizing a beneficial post tax retirement plan.

People at my company claim to be supportive, promote great work culture but there’s actually no support at all just bunch of bs. I am 8 weeks pregnant. Just went in for my lab results and my progesterone is super low. This is a significant signal that the pregnancy is ectopic or otherwise non viable. We're going in for an ultrasound early next week to find out more.

My married 🐠 friends: have you been struggling and having fights on ridiculous issues through lockdown and WFH. We are incredibly blessed, absolutely love each other.
