Consulting

How much PTO do Consultants accrue biweekly and what is a safe estimate of salary bump from BTA to C? Trying to forecast what my PTO payout will be 🤓.

Just found on DNet. D1 you are correct.

Ya. Wait until you are promoted and then leave so you are paid out at higher rate.

I thought PTO accrual didn't change till you hit manager

Arrow Icon

That could be. I honestly don't have a clue that's why I figured I'd ask.

Yeah, in DTE and Dnet, there should be pdfs. Out of curiosity, how much do we accrue biweekly at this level?

Reaction Icon Like
Arrow Icon

7.6923 as BTA

Reaction Icon Like
Arrow Icon

Wow, PDM apparently accrues 6.1538 biweekly and goes up to 7.6923 once you are at the top two levels. PDM people can also only carry over 40 hours per year. The rest expires.

What PTO 'Payout'? We don't get paid for unused pto.

Recruiter gives salary range of 130-145k in initial convo. I say under 155k would be hard, he says “$10k higher, that’s doable.” Healthcare at company sucks - so Now want to ask for 160k. Is that ok?

Been leading the same project for over two years now with a few associates (they only came around at the 1 year mark). Needless to say, incredibly fed up with the client, the work (project is horribly scoped), and the lack of support I get from my PPMD (although he loves my work and has said multiple times he wants me for every project). How do I best approach rolling off (let’s pretend there’s no COVID situation now) without burning bridges?
