My five year plan includes being licensed to practice law in the states with the four major cities. I'm currently licensed in one state, and live in a major city. Since the bar exams are online due to pandemic, should I take the leap and quietly study and apply and take the bar in those states while I am able? I would not raise suspicions of bar prep since I'm working from home. The 5 year waive in option doesn't work for me. I'm an entrepreneurial second year with a plan. Thoughts?

Anyone who has worked at Digitas for 1+ years, how is growth over there? At another large holding company I worked for, I was given a very low end media supervisor salary and after almost 2 years, I didn't even receive a cost of living raise. I asked for a raise as I was functioning as an AMD, and they refused (so I left shortly after). I've been working at independent agencies that are more generous with raises and bonuses (and fair salaries), but about to move to Digitas for a new role.

I got an offer at Salesforce that would give me more responsibities/growth, but it's not a raise in title. I'm still interested becuase it would give me a path to FAANG. What do you suggest?

My boss is a micro manager, not big on WLB, I don’t see an opportunity to independently work on projects ever and there is no path to promotion since it’s a very small team. Hi Ladies- I’ve received constructive feedback that I need to work on my delivery during executive level meetings and briefs as I look towards promotion to the next role. I’m a strong performer and my SM said that he knows I know what I’m talking about but he (and I agree) sees room for improvement on how to deliver messaging to leaders (both internal and client side). Any tips that have helped you become a better presenter for these types of meetings or low risk ways to practice.

My friend just got an offer with middle market public accounting firm.
She will start as first year manager $133k + 5k sign on. However she will not be considered for current year(2022) performance evaluation/pay raise as her start date just misses the cut off (end of March), and that being said she won’t get a pay raise or bonus till Aug 2023. What counter offer should she argue yet still reasonable? Should she ask for a higher base or higher sign on?

I just received a two hour assignment while out (on day 3 of a 9 day vacation - first one in two years). I am a junior associate, so I’m far from irreplaceable, though we are understaffed. I do not have internet where I’m traveling so to do this assignment id have to drive to the nearest cafe to do the assignment while on vacation.
