A question I asked myself several times, even today, 7 months after my master's degree in computer engineering. ‘What is the difference between my degree and computer science from a professional point of view?’. After graduating I worked for an automotive engineering company for 3 months, a job I quit as there was no coding at all and I love coding. Now I've been unemployed for 3 months and my friends keep telling me that the jobs I'm applying to are more for "computer science" students.

I am trying to determine what my hourly rate should be for HR consulting in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. I have 8 years of HR experience (generalist/manager) in the pharmaceutical industry and I have my SHRM-CP and master’s degree in HR. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
