I have seen a btech + mba in my project making around 6lpa (4YOE I guess) And just b.tech 25LPA with similar experience. 😂 So a lot depends on skillset, and luck. But I have read in a blog, high growth industries like IT, we can get *1.5 X YOE*, if you are near or below this, either change company or the tech stack. So in your case 12LPA+ would be ideal amount. But if the tech stack is hot in market, I have seen people making 20LPA+ with 8YOE on avg. Gud luck.

If you are on the human capital side, then please go to Glassdoor to understand the correct market salaries. Many here would not understand that an MBA grad in an IT consulting firm is not bound by any technologies, except for the Business Analysts probably. For your YOE, you should be able to get around 15+ LPA comfortably.

I am earning around 18lpa currently. Guess I should be satisfied then. Thanks for the insight.

Mgr indicated it was technically an individual contributor role though I would be managing 2 people. What comp/level should I expect (Assuming L6?)? Does anyone have the 2020 SHRM books for sale or to borrow? My job won’t contribute towards my certification. I’ve already paid for my test. I have the books from 2015 but I’d like to study from the 2020. I tried finding them online to purchase but sellers of affordable books aren’t responding.

Can somebody please explain to me why MBB and other top consulting firms are so adamant that you have an MBA? I majored in accounting, finance, and operations management at a top 10 undergrad business school and then got my masters in information systems from the grad school program. I took multiple MBA courses as electives when getting my masters and it seemed like those classes were very basic and easy. Idk if I would learn anything in an MBA program that I hadn’t already learned in undergrad
