So I’ve been seeing a lot of BCG reports lately (Mostly in DD setting) and I have to say I am under-impressed. Lots of inconsistencies, questionable storyline and when did they start omitting verbs in half of their slide titles? Is their growth bought by making compromises on quality?

I have an offer to a commercial real estate company in hand. My current brokerage (residential focus) wants me to pay $3000 penalty since I’m breaking the contract and leaving. I’m financially struggling and 3k is a big number to pay now. The new job will be paying me $2000/month up until the first year only. Hi! I’m starting at McKinsey in two weeks and couldn’t be more excited. I got the offer in October and the recruiter told me that the base salary would likely increase in January before I will start. Is that the case or does the annual increase only apply to current employees and will I be paid what was in my offer? Will be based out of Europe if that is relevant. Thanks!
