Similar to undergrad, maybe a little more. Plus you can finesse your schedule so you only do classes Tuesday/Thursday to have way more time off. Your scheduled breaks will have treks planned for them, which could be kind of work and networking heavy, especially in yr 1. Overall, it’s definitely way more free time than at any workplace.
I’ve seen a mix of things - some travel with classmates, others travel with their outside friend groups. Some just do their own thing and treat it as a break. Others take up part-time internships or work for startups during the semester since there’s plenty of time. The choice is really yours. I chose to work out a ton and take coding online courses with my idle time. I had a classmate who was a professional gamer so I’m sure he played a lot of Xbox 😂

The whole thing is a vacation lol. Seriously though after your first term at most schools, your schedule becomes much more flexible and you can cluster classes into 2-3 days.
I set mine up so I had like 9 hour heavy days M-W and then off Th and F most weeks!
Winter break was a bit of a wash for anyone doing on cycle heavy recruiting.

Starting this fall, but from what I’ve gathered, outside of recruiting season, it sounds like there are a lot of trips.
