I am interviewing for Data Scientist positions at various companies with 3.2 YOE. I wanted some insight as to how much can I leverage other offers for my package, like a estimated range so as not to make them run away. I currently have 16lpa offer from witch and have hr round with another witch company this week. Also have other big 4 interviews lined up next week. Where should I set my expectations from these companies, keeping in mind they are not faang.

I'm looking to pivot from consulting into tech. I've gotten lots of interesting from tech companies on the ops side but am much more interested in product management.

Any advice on books or courses to help make the transition? I'm struggling to land PM interviews at companies that aren't tiny startups :(

How long did it take you all to get interview invitations from the date you submitted your application?

I hve around 5.5 years of exp, started with MNC was in backup and storage for 3 and half years , then studied DevOps on my own and managed to crack some interviews,lied about work experience but joined Infosys, from last 2 years did little bit work on devops Jenkins and basic projects, recently moved to docker based project learning is good, but LPA is just 8.8, feeling it's too less, for switch I am not that confident can someone give tips or guide me for learning.

I had my tech F2F round today and I prepared very well on both my domain and tech perspective. But the interview was very simple and unexpected questions came up. Though I answered them I didn’t find a good vibe in the interview!!

I feel that I have not been interviewed properly to show all my skills. Totally there were only 8 ques asked along with Tell me about yourself!

I am an Operations Manager and trying to switch to Product Management through APM roles. I have done a 3 month fellowship and 2 projects.
I am from a tier 1 college and yet able to land only a couple of interviews and they keep me on stand by(2 companies so far). They are prefering folks with experience even for APM positions. What is the best way to bag a APM role with just one year work ex in pperations role. Will an internship help?

I’ve been with my current company for 2 years in Oct. and we recently hired a new person in my department for the exact same salary I’ve been making after a raise last year. This new hire had minimal relevant experience. I was made an integral part of the interview and hiring process, but wasn’t sure how to vocalize my issues with the salary during the process. Is there any limitation or chances of facing issues on Not having laptop with me(for other exit clearances).

Stuck in a project
I resigned a while back but I am stuck in a support project.The mgmt won't release me even though I have made clear that am unhappy and uninterested,asking me to join meetings and standups.
I don't know a lot about a module but I have been made a lead of that of the module. The way of working sucks, as the client adds an entire feature in a story.Others who knew about the app have been released. How dumb can be CG management and higher ups.Everyday I am waiting for the weekend
