Associate in the NY office of a magic circle firm. Been really struggling with mental health issues for a long time - I feel like I’m begging for guidance/supervision and not getting any, and can’t get any support junior-wise either. About to post a job w/ HC software co (~550 employees). Need someone who can manage relationships w/ cons/analyst firms that advise health plans on pop health software / serve as SI's, & relationships with Big Tech (MSFT, Oracle, etc). Thinking this could be a good lower stress role for Big 5 manager who wants to get off the rat race. Goal would be to give this person an opportunity to grow into more senior roles as knowledge of pop health increases. Thoughts / suggestions appreciated.

We have a high paying client that texts us ( me the other associate and the partner) at a late hour - usually 3 a.m. the first time the client did it, the partner wasn’t on the thread so I told him about it and he said he’d talk to the client. Now the client is doing it again. It has once again disturbed my sleep and I can’t go back to sleep when I start my work day in 2 hours. I’m pissed. What should I do?

Hi folks, has anyone changed their career paths from a cyber implementation specialist to sales? I have currently in the interview process for a cloud sales specialist at Palo Alto. They are going to train me technically and teach me sales for 18 months. Not so sure if this is a good idea…but as I thought about it aren’t we all selling in consulting too? Instead of a product we are selling our services. Not so sure on how to approach this

Is moving from Senior Consultant title to Product Manager title a lateral / backwards move? Job description for PM role says 2-5 years experience, yet I have 5.5 in consulting (albeit not in a product environment). I want to work more with technology so I am looking forward to PM role, but not sure how it will be viewed from the outside as I look to grow my career down the line.

Early into career in Technology Consulting at a large firm (think Big 4). Have some experience in implementation and it has been fine but not where I see myself long term. Trying to figure out what other career paths I can go into such as Data Engineering or Data Analytics. Also interested in AI and Emerging technology such as blockchain.
