I’m hating my job so bad I fantasize about walking out on my boss. My work itself is enjoyable but my boss (co-founder and CEO of a Series C startup) has become such a pain it ruins my mental health and family life. Working 12-15hrs everyday, working on many weekends, yet no appropriate for my work. We are mostly remote so a lot of interactions are over Slack. Now, I could never imagine one can be so obnoxious and mean over Slack messages when talking about work. I want to run away everyday.

How to go about resigning during COVID? Obviously can’t do it in person so who have people called versus emailed? Do I need a formal resignation letter? How do I set up the call without it being obvious what it’s about? Clearly new to a 2 week notice so any advice would be great 😂
Started telling recruiters up front what I am looking for and letting them know not to come to a call with me to try to only push something I'm not interested in such as the Siegfried Group.

Hi All - I have 5 YOE, 3 Busy Seasons in Public and 2 Busy Seasons in Industry as a Hedge Fund Accountant in NYC. Can you please share the base salary I should be aiming for as I look to move to my next position as either a Senior Fund Accountant/ Assistant Controller? Currently paid 105K. Is it unrealistic to be asking for 130K or should I be aiming for more? I appreciate your input.

Oh my sweet summer child...
Prettyyyy normal. We had 3 leave in the summer, and another one just left right before busy season. We’re in PCS, so our group is smaller too.
I think 15-20% is normal for a year.
I thought 25-30% was a more accurate number - that is around what PwC reported in their audit quality report for the audit practice.
Highest turnover among seniors of course
Avg for professional services was around 25% for professional services based on DoL stats last time I checked
